Further and other collaborations

As a guest conductor and arranger, Jules has led international projects and collaborated with many other acclaimed artists and ensembles.

A few highlights include: the Hamburg Ballet’s production of ‘Liliom’ in 2011 - music by Michel Legrand and choreography from John Neumeier, Patrick Watson in 2013 with l’Orchestre National d’Île-de-France, Benjamin Clementine in 2016 for King’s Day Eve with the Royal Concertgebouworkest, Kamasi Washington in 2016 with the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, and Cory Henri and Jacob Collier in 2017 with the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra.

Other ensembles and orchestras Jules has worked with include: Rotterdam Philharmonic, WDR Funkhausorchester, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Zurich Chamber Orchestra, Umeå Chamber Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra (Washington D.C) and Seattle Symphony Orchestra.

Jules’ career has earned him the respect of an incredibly diverse range of music makers that have led to a prodigious number of collaborations in the studio. He has appeared on recordings as conductor, arranger or producer on a wealth of albums from Arctic Monkeys, Basement Jaxx, Massive Attack, Laura Mvula, Snarky Puppy, Jose James, Henrik Schwarz, Laura Marling, Anna Calvi, Patrick Watson, Tori Amos, Emeli Sandé, Caro Emerald, DJ Yoda with Gabriel Prokofiev, Tim Minchin, Markus Stockhausen, Michael Kiwanuka, Professor Green, the Cinematic Orchestra, Dee Dee Bridgewater and many more.

He also orchestrated and conducted the Patrick Watson composed score for the movie ‘The 9th Life of Louis Drax’.
